Hey y’all! I’m a rising senior at UCSD, where I’m majoring in Sociology with a minor in Black Diaspora African American Studies, all while enjoying my time at Eleanor Roosevelt College. I transferred here last year with my associate degree from San Diego Mesa College.

Having lived in San Diego for most of my life, I’m proud to be a single mother to three amazing sons. They’re all grown now, and I’m incredibly proud that one serves in the United States Air Force, and the other two serve in the United States Navy.

During a brief stint in Texas, I discovered my passion for tennis, which has truly become the love of my life. When I’m not busy applying to graduate school, you can find me watching, playing, or traveling to tennis tournaments. I look forward to meeting and building community with fellow students who have also taken non-traditional paths!
