  1. Eligibility for UCSD Board Member Positions

     • Active membership and current dues are required to apply for and hold a UCSD board member position.

  2. Access to On-Campus Club Events

     • General Body Meetings (GBMs) are open to all participants; however, official on-campus club events are exclusively available to registered members.

  3. Participation in Social and Off-Campus Events

     • Off-campus social events with limited capacity will be reserved for registered members and, where applicable, their guests. Remaining spaces will be offered to non-members only after registered members have confirmed their participation.

  4. Exclusive Discord Server Access

     • Registered members will have access to exclusive sections of the NTSA Discord server, including members-only chat channels, volunteer opportunities, and on- and off-campus resources. Non-members will have access only to general and off-topic channels.

  5. Letters of Recommendation and Recognition Awards

     • Registered members are eligible to receive Letters of Recommendation and Recognition Awards, which can significantly aid in career advancement and applications to post-secondary, graduate, medical, or law schools.

  6. Leadership Role Opportunities

     • Leadership roles at certain events, such as volunteering, will be reserved for registered members. These roles provide valuable experience for resume building and support further educational applications.

  7. NTSA Merchandise

     • Registered members will receive a branded NTSA pen and pin upon registration. These items will be available for purchase by non-registered members as supplies last. Future NTSA merchandise will be offered to registered members at a significantly discounted rate.

  8. Alumni Access

     • Registered members will gain access to the Alumni channel after graduation, facilitating ongoing networking opportunities.

  9. Exclusive Speaker Events

     • The organization will host events featuring alumni and other distinguished speakers throughout the year. These exclusive events will be available only to registered members.

  10. Graduation Cords

      • Registered members who maintain active registration and attend at least three NTSA events (including GBMs and social events) during the academic year will receive a complimentary NTSA graduation cord. Non-registered members may purchase the graduation cord, subject to availability.

  11. Eligibility for Raffle Prizes

      • Registered members are eligible to participate in raffle prize drawings during GBMs and other events.

NTSA Membership

Annual: 15.00 dollars

Due by: September 1, prior to Fall Quarter

*Membership dues after September first are accepted and will last for the full academic year however will not be prorated.
