Hello everyone! My name is D.J. I'm a transfer from San Diego City College and the current secretary for NTSA @ UCSD! I'm 37 years old and, despite the stress, I’m living the dream as a full-time student at UCSD.

I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley, a Southern California native, but I’ve also lived in OC, the Midwest, and a few other places. Currently, I work as a student employee at the Director's Office at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, so I’m on campus every day.

My major is Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts - Music (ICAM), where I focus on music programming and exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence with music and digital audio. My ultimate goal is to pursue a PhD in Computer Music after I graduate.

I play guitar, a few other instruments, and love being in bands. My go-to music genres are punk and hardcore.
